Life as a MRS. Roberts

Fun weekend with the Family. #minigolfing #Tepenyaki #TheGrandAmerica #shopping #Family

Giving Thanks--

We had a great thanksgiving and couldn't more thankful for family and friends and those in our lives! I am thankful for such a hard working husband who does everything he can to provide for us. I am also thankful for our house and cars we have. It's crazy how all the little things we don't think about but are grateful for. I guess thats what the month of November is for, Right?

Black Friday came and went in a BLURR! I think all together I managed to get 2 1/2 hours of sleep in 24 hours. I guess I am a sucker for great deals;) and it gets me real excited for CHRISTMAS! I am definitely a christmas lover.

Bella and I even managed to get most of what we bought wrapped before Kaden could see what I spent all his money on;)

So much to catch up on..

I always say i'm going to blog more often but reality is, I suck at being on top of it! We got all moved to Smithfield and we are absolutely LOVING it! I feel like we are still "unpacking" but for the most part we have everything put away and its feeling more like "Home" to us.

Kaden started Electrical Apprenticeship through The Union and is working for TEC Electric in Logan. He is loving it! I am now doing Lashes and Nails at Studio 170 and loving every minute of it!

We enjoyed our last WS football season and are sad we didn't take State but couldn't be more proud of Coyzer.

Last month we splurged and took a trip to SLC for a little weekend getaway. A much needed one! We shopped and went to a movie and out to dinner. We stopped at SCHEELS in Sandy. If you haven't been I highly recommend going! It's so much fun.

News for us!

Well, if you haven't heard, we recently got a call from our landlord and she has someone interested in taking over our lease. With this comes good news and bad news. Good news first, we don't have to find someone ourselves or worrying about having to pay double rent if it doesn't get rented out by the end of August. And now for the Bad news... They want to move in the 17th of AUGUST! YIIIKKEES! Yes, in like a few weeks. UGH. This means for us we have to be out by the 14th. :/  not only do we have to be moved out by the 14th but our townhouse won't be done until mid-September. can you say stressful?? Luckily Kaden's parents love us SOO much they are letting us move in with them until our townhouse is done. I feel so BLESSED and lucky to have such awesome parents-in-law:)

DAY 1 OF PACKING: 1st day we started packing we filled 2 boxes and gave up for the night. We are pathetic. I think part of my problem is knowing where to even START??

DAY 2 OF PACKING: day 2 of packing we filled 3 totes, Took apart my log bed and filed a bunch of paper that I have been slacking on for the last 3 months. Yikes:/ My new goal after we get all moved into our townhouse will to not be such a slacker when it come to filing. (We'll see just how long that lasts...)

They say, "You never realize how much crap you have until you have to move". Well I am now a firm BELIEVER. :)

I will try to keep up on blogging through our CRAZY attempt of moving but no promises!

Class of 2011.

These last few weeks have been pure craziness! This year we have had 3 different graduations to attend. Kaden's brother Collin graduated from West Side High school Wednesday night, May 25. It really wasn't that bad to sit through surprisingly. Lets be honest its not any thrill ride to have to sit through a graduation ceremony. It was actually pretty cool. I have to say by far my favorite part was coach Moser's speech. It was funny, short, and to the point! kinda like how all speeches should be :] . He gave some great advice and told how proud he was of the graduating class of '11. I never knew this but there is a man who donates lots of money to the students enrolled in concurrent classes. Him and his brothers are all apart of this and they were recognized by the State Board of Idaho Education. WOW! As i sat there i thought "I could think of a million other ways to spend all this money on if i were in their shoes and how awesome and devoted they were" West Side recently built an Arts Center auditorium and with honor named the building after these brothers. The band/orchestra performed a number that i almost thought would never end! It was quite the song but they did do a good job. As a graduate from Preston High School I honestly felt like about 20 people graduated that night, Its crazy!

On Thursday night we also had a graduation to attend at Preston High School. My BEST FRIEND who i could honestly call my sister, Jaycee Foster, graduated! It's so crazy that a whole year ago i was sitting in those chairs in the middle of the gym floor. Time sure does fly by so dang fast! I'm so happy/excited for Jaycee though! She is planning on moving to Logan this coming fall and attending USU. Their graduation class was a whole lot bigger than West Sides, by far! And it sure felt like it was never gonna end! They too had a couple speakers except i wasn't really touched by any of them, sad to say. I did however see LOTS of people! Some of them I hadn't seen since last year, classmates, teacher, etc. It was so crazy to see how some people changed a lot and some people mostly stayed the same! It made me wonder what their thoughts were about me? All in all it was a good night! :]

And in just this upcoming week, my Uncle Joseph will be graduating from Mountain Crest High School. This for me is just crazy! I'm so happy and excited for him. I hope the best for him in everything life brings him! He plans to Serve a mission and attend college [I think he told me USU :]]

As for me! I am proud and a little excited to announce this coming week is my LAST full week of Beauty School!!! I have dreamt of this day for a whole year. This past year has gone by extremely fast for some aspects of my life and for others [beauty school] it sure has been a rough and VERY LONG road. I am so glad the light at the end of the tunnel is coming! It sure is a big relief to know I am just about there. I am glad that through the bumps in the road I never gave up. I know I will never regret finishing :] Thanks to the amazing support from my "soon-to-be-husband", Kaden, my best friend Jaycee, My grandparents, family, and everyone who helped me get through it all! I couldn't have done it without ALL OF YOU.

Those Moments when you're thankful for FAMILY.

This Past year I have learned many of things. People rarely change, friends come and go but Family is always there for you! I feel SOO lucky to be apart of two amazing families! At times it can be rough but I've come to learn that family will never turn their backs. I'm so thankful that our families live so close we can pretty much visit whenever :]

We just LOVE when our siblings come hang out with us. We hope they enjoy coming to visit as much as we love having them :]

We have been busy these last few weeks supporting our family and we LOVE it! Not only do we get to be there for them but we also have an excuse to get out of the house. McCoy has been busy with wrestling and we got to go watch and cheer him on for a few hours last saturday. Not that I really understand wrestling, but I thought he did a pretty good job! GO COY-ZER!

That same day Sierra had a Cheer Competition in Murray which worked perfect cause they weren't too far away from each other. She is quite the little dancer/cheerleader and has SOO much talent for both.

Jordan is still obsessed with soccer:] Love this little man so dang much! He is growing up SOO fast it makes me so sad! I've been struggling lately with the fact that my siblings are becoming more mature and grown up before I can get a grip! Ahhhh. It's such a bitter/sweet feeling. I can't quite grasp how I feel about this. I love that they are growing up but at the same time I don't like it. I don't like that my littlest brother, Hunter, is almost 7! Where does the time go?? I Love them all to death though:]

Hunter hasn't quite found his favorite interest in sports/hobbies. He did play soccer for a little bit but doesn't feel as passionate as Jordan about it.

Collin is just working on the farm, enjoying life and exploring his options for school/careers . We love when he comes to visit/hang out and puts up with us old married people. :]

If I could some up Isabelle in one word it would have to be Multi-Talented! okay, so maybe two words? She loves crafting, making just about ANYTHING out of duct-tape, Literally, and is currently taking up Tumbling. Woot Woot! We LOVE her!

Family is such a great blessing in our lives. We LOVE you all!

a little SURPRISE very much LOVED!

Can't help but brag a little bit but I pretty much have THE BEST mother-in-law! All because of this awesome lady the whole family is going to LADY A. February 14th! Kind of a big deal because I kind of really love their music! Can't imagine a better way to spend Valentine's Day! Woot Woot!  Thanks Momma Jen :]

Bring on 2012!

Well us "NOT SO NEWLY WEDS" have made it this far and can't wait for more! It's so amazing how much can happen in a year both good and bad. I must start by saying that I most definitely married the most amazing man out there! Love him to death. It's crazy to me how much love you can hold in your heart for one person. BLOWS my mind.

I'm sure all of you know a million people out there than have 100 times more patience than I do. Something I lack in so many ways. So here's to GOALS that last less than a month into the new year ;] I simply admire the people in my life that live for the little things. Makes my heart melt when I think of them. It sure is so dang easy to look at what other people have and forget everything you have worked hard for. So at this moment and to this very minute I am completely Happy with where my life is! The church has been one of the biggest BLESSINGS I could ever begin to describe! I feel that it has brought HAPPINESS to my life!

This last year has brought I feel nothing but good memories for us and we can't wait to see what 2012 brings for the both of us as well as our Family and Friends. We love and wish you all the Best!

So Here's To  2012!

Love,  The Roberts :)
